In 2019, the suicide rate for males in England and Wales was 16.9 deaths per 100,000 men this remains consistent with the rate seen in 2018 (16.2 deaths per 100,000) and is the highest rate observed since 2000.įor females, there were 5.3 deaths per 100,000 women registered in England and Wales in 2019.
